Supercar Casualties - A bad start for 2012

Looks like the sudden rise of supercars owners in Malaysia does not only come with pride and glory, but also with crashes and tragedy.

In a recent event, an F430 was reported being test driven near KLIA where it lost control and crashed underneath the guardrail, hitting a lamp post. Fortunately for both the driver and passenger, they managed to come out without any major injuries.

The front of the RM 1mil ++ was completely gone, and I don't think that the owner would be very pleased receiving his new car in such a form though.

But that was just an old news. Just when I thought things had settled down, another crash went viral on the airwaves. A black Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 had crashed, again at the highways, and one could definitely call this one totaled.

The force of the crash was so violent that I think it had went though the guardrails and rested on the motorcycle lanes. So far there are no further details on this, but I sure hope that the driver is okay.

According to Baldwin Chua at his facebook page, the Gallardo was against a GT-R at the Guthrie Corridor Highway when the crash happened. This is a picture from his page:

No further information can be found for the moment, will be updating the situation once the details come in.

UPDATE

Found a new batch of images, now the info here says that the Gallardo was trying to avoid a Proton in the front.
